SMETA 4 Pillars Audit at Natura

To ensure the highest quality of collaboration and guarantee good practices at Natura, we underwent a SMETA audit. A representative from an independent auditing organization examined Natura’s compliance with the SMETA 4 Pillar standard, which includes the assessment of working conditions (including the treatment of employees), employee health and safety, environmental protection, and business ethics. In many areas, the standard’s requirements exceed those imposed by national or local laws.

We encourage our business partners who are members of the Sedex program to contact us and create a “connection” with Natura on the Sedex platform. We are happy to share our audit report, as we believe we have much to be proud of.

Good Relationships with Employees

The conducted actions confirmed that at Natura, we care about good practices in running our business, which is reflected in various areas, including employee relations. During the audit, the following aspects were highlighted as good examples:

  • A good and friendly work atmosphere,

  • Treating employees with respect and dignity,

  • Employee satisfaction and open communication of their needs,

  • An additional 15-minute break for employees.

We Operate According to Business Ethics Principles

We are pleased that we have managed to create an organisational culture where employees feel good at work and can freely communicate their needs. We also believe that their health and well-being are key to our company’s success. We are proud that Natura is audited for business ethics and commit to further developing our operations in line with CSR principles
